Quick Pickled Onions

Ingredients
- ½ cup vinegar (apple cider or wine vinegar)
- 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve the sugar and salt in the vinegar. Add the onions and let sit for about 1 hour at room temperature.
