1 heaping tablespoon Chinese black bean garlic sauce
⅛ teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted
Vegetable or other neutral oil for frying
Instructions
Heat 1 inch of oil in a pan and working in batches, fry the green beans for a few minutes until the beans begin to blister. Place the cooked beans in a bowl lined with paper towels and set aside.
Meanwhile, in a large pan, heat the black bean garlic sauce, sugar and sesame oil and stir to combine. Add the fried beans and toss till well coated. Place on a serving dish and sprinkle with the almonds.
