Summer is around the corner and I am testing my mixology abilities. Try this sophisticated lemonade at your next barbecue. I promise you will not regret it.
Rosemary Sparkling Lemonade
This recipe is in "parts" so that you can adjust the quantity as required.

Ingredients
- *** For the Rosemary Infused Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 or 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- *** For the Drink
- 1 part rosemary infused syrup
- 1 part freshly squeeze lemon juice
- 4 parts carbonated water (Perrier, San Pelegrino,...)
- Small sprig of fresh rosemary and slice of lemon
Instructions
- For the rosemary infused syrup - Put the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat and stir till the sugar is dissolved and mixture is clear. Put the rosemary in a Mason jar and top with the syrup. Let it cool and then cover and put in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours.
- For the drink - In a tall glass, add a small sprig of rosemary and a slice of lemon. Add syrup, lemon juice and carbonated water. Stir gently and top with ice. Enjoy!
