Ingredients
- 2 to 3 large tomatoes, cut into small wedges
- ½ small red onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped plus more for garnish
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- ½ teaspoon honey
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place the sliced tomatoes, onion and basil in a bowl or serving dish.
- Put the olive oil, vinegar and honey in a Mason jar and shake to incorporate.
- Pour the vinaigrette over the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and gently mix. Garnish with basil and serve immediately.
